387 Huguenot St Apartments will feature 60 multi-family units constructed over a parking garage and retail space.
KSG is the structural engineer of record. The building foundation consists of a large mat foundation founded on bedrock used to resist hydrostatic pressure. The lowers levels of the building are steel framed parking structure. The steel parking podium will support wood framed apartments.
Project: Rutger’s University, Wakmans Institute of Microbiology

The Waksman Institute of Microbiology project is a new three-story addition to the Braun Laboratory. The institute, located in Piscataway, New Jersey, is expanding its research program by adding state of the art, open-concept, laboratory and support space.
Keystone Structural Group provided steel connection and construction engineering consultation and support to the steel detailer and fabricator.

The new addition adds 9 new classrooms in addition to remodeling 8 existing classrooms. A new entrance lobby was also constructed, as well as new gathering spaces for youth groups, music ministry, meetings and celebrations. The final touch is a new remodeled Parish Center with large banquet and meeting facilities with an updated kitchen.Keystone Structural Group provided structural engineering services for the project.
Project: Spring Brook Twp. Maintenance Building – Spring Brook, PA
Construction Cost: Approx. $500,000 – Completed Spring 2018
This project involved the design and construction of a new 4-bay maintenance
garage to house snow removal vehicles. The new municipal garage is
approximately 7,500 square feet and is a state of the art facility that includes
radiant heat in the flooring, LED lighting, and automatic door openers on the
overhead doors that can be opened to create drive-through truck bays.
Construction Cost: Approx. $30 Million – Completed Summer 2019
The project is involves the full-gut renovation of an existing historic 150 year old Convent in the Kenwood section of Albany, NY into a 105 luxury condos. The three existing buildings sit on a 75-acre campus, minutes from downtown Albany. The luxury complex will include artists retreats, hiking trails, a spa, indoor pools, workout rooms, a new rooftop restaurant and other amenities.
The overall square footage is approximately 350,000 gsf. Extensive structural work is being performed to reinforce the existing structure, build-out new apartments, support a new indoor pool, and support a new rooftop restaurant with views of Downtown Albany.
The Saw Pit Apartments feature a 27 apartment unit, 4 story building, constructed over a retail space. Total approximate square footage is 35,000 sq. ft. Keystone Structural Group is the engineer of record.
Construction Cost: $15 Million – Completed Summer 2018
Designed for occupancy by students at nearby Monroe College, this five-story, 94-unit residential building is designed in compliance with the new form-based zoning adopted in New Rochelle and was completed in the Fall of 2018. The building also have a full basement.
The ground floor superstructure houses resident parking and is designed as a podium to support the 4-story wood frames apartment units above. The apartments are constructed utilizing economical, wood-frame modular construction systems to helps minimize construction cost. Features include a landscaped terrace and ground-floor common area providing amenities for students.
