Senior Civil Engineer/Project Manager (In-Office)
Ideal candidates will be a registered Professional (Civil) Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in the design and management of land development projects. Candidates should have experience with project management including building and maintaining client relations and working with a team to successfully complete land development projects.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering. Candidates must have experience performing the following:
- Design of subdivisions and land development submissions
- Zoning and approvals process
- Stormwater management/calculations
- Site design, grading, and erosion and sediment control plans
- Site utilities
- PennDOT/DEP permitting/NPDES
- Hydraulic calculations
- Cost estimating
- Assisting department head in project proposals and managing contracts, QA/QC and design oversight
- Mentoring/managing junior engineers and designers
- Ability to attend evening meetings
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- EIT certification required, PE preferred
- Minimum of +5 years career experience.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
- Must be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Self-motivating and ability to multi-task while maintaining a strong attention to detail
- Ability to act with business integrity and professionalism'
- Applicant must be able to commute to our Scranton, PA location. This is an in office position

Senior Structural Engineer (In-Office)

Candidates should have experience with project management including building and maintaining client relations and working with a team to successfully complete land development projects.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Structural Engineer located in Scranton, PA. The Senior Structural Engineer will be responsible for calculations, structural analysis, structural engineering, project management, and computer-aided design (CAD or Revit) on a day-to-day basis.
Required Qualifications

- Calculations and Structural Analysis skills for building projects
- Experience in Structural Engineering
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Revit a plus
- Proficiency with wood, steel, masonry and concrete design
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural Engineering or Stuctural Engineering or related field
- EIT required, Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus
- This is an in office position at our Scranton, PA office

Structural Engineering Summer Intern
KSG Engineers (KSG) is currently looking for an ambitious Structural Engineering and Architectural Engineering Drafting student. KSG would prefer that prospective applicants have accomplished all lower division coursework and some upper division structural courses (approximately two or more years of completed course work).
KSG is currently seeking a seasonal or part time employee. This employment opportunity will provide engineering and drafting experience on a wide variety of structural projects in our Scranton, PA office.
General Statement of Duties and Responsibilities
Successful applicants will assist senior engineers at KSG in performing engineering services for our clients. Our interns will be involved in a wide variety of structural engineering tasks that may include but not be limited to:
- Assist in structural evaluation, analysis and/or design of existing or new structures.
- Assist in developing engineering reports.
- Assist with structural drafting projects in AutoCAD.
- Assist project managers and technical staff with project work, business development activities, and organizational tasks.
- May be called upon to perform routine engineering calculations, review documentation, research technical issues, prepare/edit presentations, and reports, organize files, etc.
- He/She will be required to provide a level of professionalism that promotes a positive image of KSG to our clients and the public.
Supervision Received
- All interns will work under the direct supervision of Registered Professional Engineers who have a combined 30+ years of experience in providing practical solution orientated structural engineering in both design and construction administration. He/She will be provided with all required mentorship for each specific task and project type.
Office / Position location: Scranton, PA Office
Up to 40 hours per week paid internship – 8 Hour Shift (Monday – Friday)
