On June 15, 2018 an EF2 tornado struck the heart of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania’s commerce center and caused at least $18 million dollars in damage.   The commercial hub is considered one of the busiest shopping centers in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Keystone Structural Group, in conjunction with Miller Rosentel Associates, were requested by the shopping center ownership team to conduct structural survey inspections, assessment reports, repair plans and specifications for recoverable buildings.  KSG’s engineers were able to quickly determine structural soundness of the damaged buildings and provide the shopping center owner with plans to rapidly repair and reopen.
